Yes, all of the diggers have their own range of buckets usually comprising of 9” or 12”, 18”, 24” and Ditching Bucket. We have a 6” bucket for some machines, please ask upon booking.
We hire them separately. If you require them (advised) they are £20 + VAT per set of 4 pads for the duration of the hire.
No you don't, you just need to be competent. We do insist that the person using the machine is on site when it is delivered or, if being collected it must be the person using it that comes in. You will be shown how to use the machine, emergency procedures, security features and where the manual and certificates are kept.
Yes you do - When the equipment is on hire it is YOUR responsibility if it was damaged or stolen - You can obtain insurance from HireShield short term insurance https://www.hireshield.co.uk/ - Hire Association Europe T&C's quote; Risk in the Goods will pass immediately to the Customer when they leave the physical possession or control of the Supplier. Risk in the Hire Goods will not pass back to the Supplier from the Customer until the Hire Goods are back in the physical possession of the Supplier. This shall apply even if the Supplier has agreed to cease charging the Rental.
All diesel machines come with a full tank of WHITE DIESEL and if returned full, obviously there is no charge. If you don't manage to return full, we charge £1.80+ VAT per litre on completion. If you hire a petrol machine then it will be supplied with a small amount of unleaded petrol in it, therefore it is up to you to put some in and return it to us as it was supplied.
Yes of course provided you have hired from us before and are on our computer system or known to us. First time hirers cannot collect any Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers or Access Equipment. You must make sure you comply with all towing laws and adequate insurance is in place. We will also need photo I.D and a utility bill upon collection. You will also need to use your own straps to secure the machinery, we do not lend or hire these - you can purchase these from our shop if necessary.
YES. Please do not take for granted that we will turn up when your hire is due to end. As soon as you know you will be finished with your machine, you will need to ring in and book in a collection time (or alternatively extend your hire period) - In the past we have turned up on site when the hire is due to finish and we have been told by customer that they needed it longer as things haven't gone to plan!

Yes we do. You will need photo identification (passport or photo driving licence) and something that proves your address (utility bill, bank/building society statement, HMRC letter, etc). The address must be the same as the invoicing/delivery address given.
Yes we sell new items in our shop; masks, goggles, ear defenders, boots, harnesses, gloves, etc. These items cannot be hired out.
Yes we do, all types of gardening, horticultural, arboricultural and construction. Please call and ask for more details.
We cannot sell Calor Gas for customers own equipment, however we can sell calor gas with any equipment that you 'hire' from us that requires it.
TOOL & GARDENING EQUIPMENT HIRE - Yes, we will take £100 deposit from your card when you come in to collect the item. When you bring the equipment back we will work out the hire price and then credit the balance back or ask for additional payment depending on cost of hire.
DIGGER, DUMPER, ROLLER & CHERRY PICKERS - Upon booking we will ask for your debit/credit card details, this secures your hire. On the day of the hire we will take the initial hire charge, delivery/collection costs and VAT from your card. If you extend the hire we take the extra amount from your card on completion or alternatively if you get the work done sooner we will refund the amount back onto your card. When your invoice is done up on completion your card details are destroyed. Your card details are kept in a locked filing cabinet in a locked office and are NOT imputed on a computer system.
1 day is the minimum on any piece of equipment.
